Diagnostics
Our workshop is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment, manned by technicians with the skills and knowledge to use it effectively. Mechanical and electrical faults can be frustrating, especially when the fault or repair needed isn't obvious.
By having access to the original manufacturers procedure for diagnosing most faults, experienced specialist technicians, and the latest diagostic tools available, we very rarely come accross a fault that we cannot diagnose.
Scheduled Maintenance / Servicing
You’re a busy person — don’t let vehicle problems get in your way. Routine maintenance is the most effective way of preventing future issues, unexpected repairs and breakdowns. It is important to follow the manufacturers reccomended service intervals, this will ensure your vehicles engine and other systems are kept in the best possible condition, and last longer.
We are proud to be part of the Shell Service Specialist Network, meaning we only us the highest quality oils and filters in your vehicle during a service.
Is your vehicle still under a manufacturer warranty? No problem - we're able to provide the same or better servicing standards as the main dealers, using the correct parts and check lists to ensure that your warranty is not affected - and usually at a more cost effective price.
Brakes
Brakes are quite possibly the most vital system on your vehicle, the safety of yourself, other occupants and other road users depend on them working effectively every single time they are called in to action. At R&S Services we promise to only use parts approved by the original vehicle manufacturer, which are equivilent, or higher quality than the original equipment.
This means that when you need them most, our discs, pads, calipers and shoes, will go above and beyond to keep you safe.
Thats why we offer a 25 month / 25,000 mile warranty on the majority of our brake jobs which includes wear and tear! Something very few garages have the confidence or ability to offer (t's & c's apply).
Our technicians go through extensive training and on the job quality checks take place to ensure our high standards are maintained.
Clutches
The clutch is the critical connection between the engine and gearbox on all vehicles with a manual gearbox. Clutches wear over time and use, and will generally fail slowly, if you noice 'clutch slip' or juddering when pulling away this may be a sign that your clutch is worn and beginning to fail.
We will only fit clutches that we supply, this is to ensure quality and correct fitment with no delays. We only use clutches made by a company called LUK, used by many manufacturers as original equipment, LUK has a reputation for superb quality and durability.
